Andrea Craven is a long term resident of the Manawatu. She studied law at Victoria University of Wellington and was a Commercial and Public law Partner at Innes Dean in Palmerston North 1989 – 94. From 1994 onwards Andrea has been practicing on her own account specializing in employment, public, business, and property law. She was the primary provider of legal services to a tertiary education institution for many years in all aspects of governance and operations. She has provided a range of services for two NZ universities including opinion work on legislative and policy environment, risk, contractual environment, funding and operating models.

Andrea has provided legal services to professional services firms (national and local) accountants, lawyers, engineers and surveyors, and doctors; from agribusinesses and from property developers.

Andrea has also provided legal services as an all-of-government provider.

Andrea is also the sole shareholder and sole employee of Acuity Consulting Services Ltd, a management consultancy company on the All of Government panel.
